Nakiisa ang iba’t ibang stakeholders, manufacturers, hotel and restaurant owners at iba pang negosyo sa Halal Awareness Seminar and Readiness Assessment na pinangunahan ng DTI Rizal. Diniscuss sa seminar ang Halal Accreditation and Certification in the Philippines, mga basic concepts and principles of Halal, accreditation guidelines proseso ng Halal certification, audit requirements at ang mahalagang papel ng Halal food supply chain sa pagpapalago ng mga negosyo.
Naging chance rin ito para mas maunawaan ng mga participants ang NCMF Halal Program, makibahagi sa open forum at masuri ang kanilang kahandaan sa pamamagitan ng Readiness Assessment, bilang paghahanda sa pagkuha ng Halal Certification.
